BANGGAIPOST,Toili-Sejumlah remaja di Kecamatan Toili diamanakan polisi lantaran diduga akan melakukan aksi balapan liar di ruas Jalan kompleks Gudang Dolog, Desa Jayakencana, Kecamatan Toili, Sabtu malam (6/2/2021).
Para pemuda yang diamankan itu yakni berinisial RS (16), TS (15), RS (18), AS (18) dan SH (18).
Kapolsek Toili AKP Candra SH, mengatakan, para pemuda itu diamankan berawal dari laporan pengguna jalan yang resah atas aksi tersebut. Serta petugas yang sebelumnya melakukan pengintaian di sekitar lokasi.
“Ada enam orang yang diamankan bersama sepeda motornya. Ini sangat berbahaya bagi diri sendiri dan pengguna jalan lain,” kata AKP Candra.
Selanjutnya, AKP Candra mengungkapkan, para pemuda dan remaja tersebut kemudian diberikan hukuman berupa sikap phus up dan hormat bendera karena tidak mematuhi protokol kesehatan tidak menggunakan masker.
“Dan untuk seluruh kendaraan mereka akan dilepaskan jika telah melengkapi komponen dan surat-surat kendaraanya,” terang AKP Candra.
Untuk itu, AKP Candra mengimbau para orang tua agar mengawasi pergaulan anak-anaknya saat berada di luar rumah serta tidak mengizinkan membawa kendaraan jika belum memilik Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM).
“Kami mohon bantuan dari para orang tua untuk mengawasi anak-anaknya. Ini demi keselamatan mereka,” imbau AKP Candra.(NS/Hmp)
