Temui Menteri Pertanian, Bupati Banggai Siap Genjot Integrated dan Family Farming di Lahan 1000 Ha

BANGGAIPOST,Jakarta- Bupati Banggai Ir.H.Amirudin menemui Menteri Pertanian RI Syahrul Yasin Limpo di Jakarta, Kamis (16/12).

Pertemuan yang difasilitasi Ketua Fraksi Nasdem DPR-RI yang juga Waketum DPP Nasdem Ahmad M Ali itu, membahas terkait rencana strategis Pengembangan sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Banggai.

Kepada Banggai Post, Bupati Ir.Amirudin Tamoreka menjelaskan, dari pertemuan itu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Banggai merespon
sistem pertanian terpadu Integrated Farming dan Family Farming yang akan di genjot di daerah ini.

Integrated Farming System adalah sebuah program integrasi antara pertanian, perikanan dan peternakan dalam sebuah kawasan.

Sementara Family Farming adalah program dimana setiap keluarga bisa mensubtitusi kebutuhan pangannya. Masyarakat bisa membangun kebun keluarga dengan memanfaatkan lahan kosong dan pekarangan rumah, untuk menghasilkan panganan sehat dan berkualitas seperti sayur-mayur, umbi-umbian, aneka buah dan sumber protein hewani termasuk ikan sesuai potensi lokal.

” Alhamdulillah, setelah menemui pak Menteri, kami bersyukur, dari sekian program yang di bahas, ada yang menarik, yakni program integrated Farming dan Family Farming yang akan direalisasikan pada awal Februari tahun 2022 mendatang,”terangnya.

Yang perlu dilakukan saat ini sambung Bupati adalah, menyiapkan lahan seluas 1000 Ha sesuai permintaan Kementerian Pertanian.

Lahan tersebut tersebar di sejumlah kawasan, tentunya sesuai potensi yang dimiliki wilayah masing-masing, dan siap dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan program tersebut.

“Pada prinsipnya kami siap menggenjot program ini. Sudah harus disiapkan lahan para petani yang akan dikembangkan. Jika tidak, bisa dialihkan ke daerah lain. Bulan Januari 2022, tahapan program sudah mulai jalan. Dan awal Februari sudah action,”terang Bupati.

Bupatipun menginformasikan, selain kedua program menarik itu, ia juga membahas sejumlah program reguler. Seperti pengadaan bibit jagung, Alsintan, dll.

“Ada sejumlah Kepala Dinas yang ikut ke Jakarta, saat ini tengah membahas program reguler bersama Dirjen kementerian Pertanian,”pungkasnya. (NS)
