Polisi Ungkap Kasus Pencurian di Luwuk Shopping Mall

BANGGAIPOST,Luwuk- Satreskrim Polres Banggai berhasil mengungkap dan menangkap tersangka pencurian yang terjadi di salah satu toko yang berada di Shopping Mall Luwuk pada Sabtu (1/5/2021).

Pelaku berinisial JD alias J (44) warga Kelurahan Simpong, Kecamatan Luwuk Selatan ini dibekuk setelah mencuri uang milik korban senilai Rp 13.500.000.

“Saat itu tersangka berpura-pura menjadi pembeli di toko milik korban. Setelah koban lengah tersangka langsung mengambil tas milik korban,” ungkap Iptu Adi Herlambang saat konferensi pers yang didampingi Kaubbag Humas Iptu Haryadi dan KBO Satreksrim di Mapolres Banggai, Selasa (11/5/2021).

Usai menerima laporan laporan dari korban, petugas kemudian langsung melakukan penyelidikan di lapangan dan berhasil menangkap tersangka tanpa perlawanan.

“Brang bukti yang diamankan yakni satu unit ponsel, 53 lembar uang pecahan Rp. 100 ribu dan 62 lembar uang pecahan Rp. 50 ribu,” beber perwira dua balak ini.

Atas perbuatannya pelaku saat ini telah mendekam di sel tahanan Mapolres Banggai guna mempertanggung jawabkan perbuatannya.

“Pelaku dikenakan dengan pasal 362 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal lima tahun penjara,” pungkas Iptu Adi Herlambang. (NS/Hmp)
